• We supplied these beautiful, contemporary Corian worktops to a new build development in Poole, Bournemouth. We supply many developers throughout the south of the UK but frequently supply Corian kitchen worktops Poole and the south coast.

• Corian works brilliantly in clean contemporary kitchen designs creating sleek and seamless surfaces. The Corian colour used in this project was Glacier White, which is a warm classic white and our most popular colour choice. The Corian integrated sink is also in matching Glacier White.

The details

• This classic contemporary kitchen was designed by Kitchen Elegance, who are based in Poole. We templated, fabricated and installed the worktops for them back in 2018 and these still remain one of our favourites.

  The worktops were created at a thickness at 24mm and include a premium sharks nose profile, creating the appearance of slimmer 12mm worktops. These included an LED rebate to the underside of the Corian allowing LED lights to shine down onto the handless units. The utility worktop which is hidden away in a larder unit had a larger down stand and an integrated coved Corian splashback.

• One of our favourite parts of this job was the custom built sink area. An integrated Corian Mixa sink with stainless steel base was used to allow for a boiling water tap. This was sunk down into a bespoke drainer area which housed a pop up tap. When not in use the tap can be pushed down and a Corian sink cover used creating a larger work space.

  Behind the sink we also fabricated an integrated storage compartment with lid. This was a unique design which allowed the customer to hide away there washing up utensils and bottles.
